The Siemens SIRIUS 3RW402 series is a compact soft starter range designed for smooth starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors in industrial applications. The series covers rated operational currents from 12.5 to 38 A and supports motors from 5.5 to 18.5 kW at 400 V, depending on the selected variant. Available versions support main circuit voltages of 200–480 V AC or 400–600 V AC. Integrated electronic motor overload protection, adjustable current limiting, two-phase control, and a built-in bypass contact system help reduce electrical and mechanical stress while minimizing power losses during continuous operation.
