Product Description

The Inovance MD605A-4T4R8 is a compact general-purpose AC drive for three-phase 380 to 480 V motors. Rated at 1.5 kW in the 60 mm wide T1 housing, it targets small automation equipment such as packaging, woodworking and logistics machines. Open-loop sensorless vector control covers asynchronous and synchronous motors, and the CAN model adds CANopen and CANlink alongside standard Modbus-RTU communication.

Standard Features

• Compact housing: 38% smaller volume than the previous generation, with vapour chamber cooling and a separate air duct.
• Integrated control: One drive handles asynchronous and synchronous motors with open-loop sensorless vector control (SVC).
• Dual network ports: CN1 and CN2 RJ45 ports support CANopen and CANlink for daisy-chain networking.
• Crimp terminals: Tool-free push-in terminals shorten wiring and commissioning time.
• Reliability: Conformal coating on the driver board, intelligent fan control, stall protection and slip start.
• Cooling: Forced air cooling on this rating.
• Braking unit: Not built in on this model; the MD605A-4T4R8B version includes it.
