Product Description

The TeSys GV motor circuit breaker is a 3-pole (3P) device rated at 50A/690V, specifically designed for the protection of 3-phase motors ranging from 11-22kW at 400V.


Protection Features
As a multifunction circuit breaker, it offers both thermal magnetic protection and advanced motor protection features.
With a breaking capacity of Icu 50kA at 400V, it ensures reliable interruption of fault currents.


Control and Connection
The start-stop control is operated via a toggle switch, and connections are made using Everlink BTR screw terminals.


Thermal and Magnetic Protection
Thermal protection is adjustable via dials, allowing for a setting current (Ir) range of 20-50A and a selectable tripping class of either 10 or 20.
Magnetic protection is set at 17 In, providing robust short-circuit protection.


Advanced Protection Settings
Advanced motor protection features can be configured using a smartphone via wireless NFC technology. These include:

  • Short time delay protection (Isd) with a setting range of 5-13 times Ir

  • Phase unbalance and loss protection

  • Ground fault protection

  • Locked rotor (jam) protection

  • Long start protection


Expandability
The circuit breaker has internal locations for installing additional auxiliary contact blocks (OF, SD) and voltage trip units (MN, MX).
Externally, it can be equipped with 1 or 2 auxiliary SDx modules, enabling alarming and fault differentiation functions.
