The Schneider Electric 50439 is a closed toroid from the VigiPacT range, designed as a residual current sensor for type A earth leakage protection and monitoring. With an 80 mm inner diameter and a rated operational current of 160 A, it is compatible with VigiPacT RH10M to RH197P relays and Vigilohm insulation fault locators. The transformer ratio of 1/1000 enables precise measurement of residual currents for reliable fault detection. It withstands a rated short-time current of 85 kA for 0.5 seconds and features reinforced insulation with an overvoltage category IV rating. The toroid is suitable for fixed mounting on cables, backplates, or DIN rail, and operates reliably from -35 °C to +70 °C in industrial and commercial power distribution systems.
