How it works: deliver what the process needs, not full speed

Conventional setups run the motor at full speed and then mechanically throttle the process with valves or dampers — wasting a large share of the energy consumed.

Wolong drives regulate output frequency and voltage to deliver exactly the speed and torque the process requires: a 20% speed reduction on a pump can cut energy use by nearly 50%. Soft starting also eliminates the inrush current of direct-on-line starts and the mechanical shock on belts and couplings.

The WD200 and WD400 support both induction motors (IM) and permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), with V/F, sensorless vector control (SVC) and feedback vector control (FVC), so a single drive can serve many different applications.
